American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry website recognition

We were please to hear this past week that the website for the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry ( was featured at the 2011 Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) Annual Educational Conference in New Orleans, by keynote speaker David Stillman as an example of how to best market to Gen Xers and Millenials.  Joan Campbell, Executive Director of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, shared her excitement with us when unannounced to her and her associates, their website was discussed as a good example to Mr. Stillman’s Opening Plenary Session – Customer Service for Each Generation:

I’m at the conference for the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) this week. The opening session had a speaker who spoke on the generational differences and how we need to market our certification programs to each of those generations. He was using advertising clips and examples of websites to illustrate his points.

Imagine how thrilled I was to see the ABMSP home page go up on the screen as an example of how to best market to Gen Xers and Millenials. He said that our Get Certified, Get Prepared, Get Ready message was right on for how to hit the younger generation.

The website design and development project was developed through a collaborative effort between Avid Design Group, LLC of St. Augustine, FL, and the Executive staff of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP).  David Stillman (Generation Xer) is co-founder with Lynne Lancaster of BridgeWorks, a company dedicated to speaking and consulting on generational issues for organizations ranging from AARP to the IRS to MTV. For over a decade he has been called on by business executives, politicians and the media to share his expertise on how to bridge generational gaps. His work has earned him gold medals at the NY Film Festival and he was recently named as one of “200 People to Watch.” Lynne and David’s new book, The M-Factor recently made the INC. Magazine best seller list.

Catching up on our Blog!

Wow!  We cannot believe how quick the year is going, especially considering the end of this year is only a month and a half away.  We have had a busy Fall Season and are just now playing catch up on our Avid Design Group Blog.  Many new website and graphic design projects have been completed since our last post.  To name a few, we have recently launched the following new website design projects:

Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre websiteFriends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre (, launched September 2011.  The Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Inc. (FOSAA) is a non-profit organization committed to making the Amphitheatre more accessible to the community.  Having its primary mission to increase access to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre by schools and other non-profit community organizations, FOSAA assists the venue in promoting excellence in programming and in being a positive contributor to the quality of life for citizens and visitors to St. Johns County.

St. Johns County Education Foundation websiteSt. Johns County Education Foundation (, launched October 2011.  The St. Johns County Education Foundation is the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District. This non-for-profit organization leads efforts to directly benefit the educators and students within the community through programs and events that strive to provide the tools and resources that are necessary to help each child in St. Johns County reach their full potential.

Avid Design Group announces the launch of the redesigned website for The Arc of the St. Johns. The Arc of the St. Johns provides services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

The Art of BBQ Online

Avid Design Group, LLC is proud to announce the launch of the new e-commerce website for The Art of BBQ, located in downtown St. Augustine. Susan and Craig Jinbo, owners of The Art of BBQ retail location wanted to create an online store environment for many of their customers who live out of the area. The Art of BBQ offers an wonderful variety of sauces, rubs and other grilling accessories.
